Carrying and storing guns
"Long guns are no longer treated as invisible," Rob Nelson told Famitsu. Rifles live in your personal vehicle's trunk or the locker at any Ammu-Nation.
The Ultimate Edition adds personalised variants of Jason's Girardi ES9 and Lucia's Klose K17, plus the Hawk & Little Morgan revolvers with palm-tree grips.
Unnamed guns are listed by their real-world look ("MAC-11 type") until Rockstar names them.
On foot you carry two one-handed and two two-handed weapons, plus a melee slot, a gadget slot and a throwable. Everything else stays in the trunk of your personal vehicle.
Guns you drop are not lost: owned weapons always return to your vehicle's trunk or the Ammu-Nation armory. Some Ammu-Nation stores sell guns found nowhere else, and there are more weapon customisations than ever.
Auto lock-on aiming is gone, replaced by aim assist. Hit markers tell you the result: white for a hit, yellow for an enemy who is down and no longer a threat, red for a kill.
Focus slows time and highlights weak points: red areas are lethal, yellow are not. On vehicles it shows tires, the engine block and the fuel tank.

GTA 6 robberies work on any store: back door, snap gun, kill cameras and alarm, crack the safe, then bank the cash or fence the loot. Solo or with Lucia.

All 226 GTA 6 vehicles seen so far: 158 cars and trucks, 13 bikes, 30 boats, 16 aircraft. 7 named by Rockstar.
Confirmed so far
- Girardi ES9, Klose K17 and Hawk & Little revolvers are named by Rockstar.
- Long guns must be stored in a vehicle or Ammu-Nation locker.
- Two one-handed and two two-handed weapons on foot (TGG, from the Extended Look weapon wheel).
Still unknown: Damage, fire rate and prices for any weapon.
