GTA 6 Activities

GTA 6's things to do outside the story fall into six groups: crime, racing and driving, sports and fitness, outdoors and water, city life, and side missions. Each side activity, minigame and hobby below links to its source.

Free-roam robberies come in tiers: local stores, jewelry stores, banks and gang compounds. Stolen cars go to fences for cash, covered in GTA 6 money.

Street races take up to 16 racers, on laps or point to point, with pink checkpoints. Some races allow nitrous.

Game Informer's cover story confirms street and off-road racing, airboating and jet skiing.

Game Informer's cover story, as read on YouTube by Hollow, quotes Rockstar on the northern countryside: ATV trails, a mud park for off-roading, destruction derby races on floodlit tracks at night, and mountain bike trails.

Buy a membership at the front desk. Three exercises make a day's workout: weights raise health, the treadmill raises stamina. TGG saw eight bench-press reps fill a third of the workout ring.

Work out three days in a row and health and strength level up, Rob Nelson told Famitsu. Protein shakes and energy drinks give a short stamina boost, and Jason and Lucia can turn muscular or overweight.

The HUD shows health, stamina and Focus. Workouts and side activities raise them for good; food and drinks only for a while.

Game Informer confirms mini golf, billiards, base jumping and the gym. Mini golf is new to the series; pool last appeared in GTA IV.

TGG saw a shooting range with quick weapon swapping, and a basketball hoop at Jason's safehouse in the Keys.

The Extended Look shows someone being bodyslammed in a backyard wrestling ring. It is not clear yet whether you can play it or it is only a scene.

Over 170 animal species live in Leonida, some classed as rare, discoverable or legendary. You can study them as in Red Dead Redemption 2; Rockstar is keeping the legendary ones secret.

You can dive underwater with an oxygen meter, and Game Informer confirms scuba diving, snorkeling, kayaking and zoo visits. A Crest Kayak sits outside Jason's safehouse in Rockstar's Ultimate Edition art.

Boobie Ike owns the Jack of Hearts strip club, and the map shows icons for gyms, mod shops, bars and safehouses.

There are thousands of outfits, unlocked through missions or bought in stores. The Ultimate Edition adds the Electric Fang Tattoo, with over 50 tattoos, and Sara's Unisex Salon.

The Jason and Lucia relationship is optional: texting, dates, the gym and holding hands. The phone has social media, a fitness app, banking and Scooter Bros, and some street events are livestreamed.

GTABase also lists boxing and street fights, sea races and parachute jump challenges, all activities from earlier GTA games. None has been shown in GTA 6 yet.

GTABase reports that fishing is catch-and-release, that hunting is introduced by someone Jason knows and mainly earns money, and that tennis courts exist but tennis is not playable. It cites no source for these.

No 100% completion list exists yet. GTABase expects every side activity to count towards it, as in GTA V.
